Why the name THE RAGING BUTTERFLY?
Are you familiar with the story of the butterfly? The butterfly MUST struggle while emerging from the chrysalis in order for a hormone to be released into its wings, which ultimately enables it to fly. We are very similar.
Brainwashed by our pain-avoidant culture, our egos try to boss our minds, bodies and souls around. “Quit crying.” “You’re strong.” “Get over it already.” However, society’s indoctrination to hurry up and get over it is inadvertently creating the pain paradox. People are being forced to try to “heal” in the trappings of shameful isolation and misery. But if we still ourselves and allow our deepest, truest inner voice to be heard over the ego’s tyrannical whispers, we will come to realize that hardship and human suffering is NORMAL and not something to get over. Pain, no matter how subtle or severe, is a form of energy that demands to be acknowledged, befriended and even accommodated.
